Sistema Miki Wall System

The round black lacquered panel supports a wall hung TV and a clear glass shelf holds accessory electronics. Two cable portals keep cords between the components concealed. Ample storage and display space is provided by two wide drawers sitting low to the ground. The "ears" are fitted with randomly stacked cases for CD and DVD open storage. The round wall panel may be mounted at any desired height to the left, right or centerd above the drawers. Screen Media Center

Today's media components are so slim and beautifully designed that they need not be stashed away in bulky cabinets. Now, media centers must be as up-to-date and high-tech as the exposed electronics they support.

Using only fourteen square feet of floor space, Screen is a fully equipped, multi-use media center with a flat TV clip rail, audio/video component shelf, hidden CD/DVD storage, two book shelves, and an open CD/DVD rack. The wide brushed aluminum base offers stable support and swivels 360 degrees, enabling the TV to be viewed from any angle or turned completely out of sight. Its wide face accommodates large plasma TVs - 42", 50" and some 60" models if the bottom glass shelf is removed. Vertical storage cabinets pull out from each side keeping DVDs/CDs and remotes neatly organized and hidden. Tempered etched glass shelves slip into narrow steel tracks and maybe arranged as desired. TV/video cables remain concealed by passing through the cable portal and out the bottom of the base. A second cable portal is located on top of the unit for placement of a central speaker or lamp. Whether the need is for a single flat TV cabinet or an entire wall composition, RACK has a solution. Designed to house today's high-tech media electronics, this sophisticated system of modular components features many technical innovations. The closed storage and open shelf elements are available in a wide array of matte lacquer colors and natural woods, with two tone color combinations possible.

The basis of the modular system begins with the RACK TV wall unit. Available for purchase separately, the wall hung cabinet supports a flat screen television on its door which swings open and swivels 45 degrees left or right for an optimum viewing angle. Inside the cabinet is a slotted DVD / CD organizer where a large collection of movies and music can be stored neatly out of sight. Cable management portals are provided. Composition 1 includes the RACK TV wall unit and a base cabinet for storage of electronic components. Inside the low cabinet is a sensor that relays commands from the remote controls to the components hidden inside, allowing the cabinet door to remain closed during operation. A single interior glass shelf supports players and recorders while the flip down door provides easy access. Components may also be placed on top of the base cabinet if desired. The base cabinet is 51 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 12 inches high. The RACK TV wall unit may be hung above at any optimal height.
Composition 2 is a chic assembly of horizontal and vertical storage elements that fills a living/media room wall. Composition 2 is created by using the RACK TV wall unit described above and adding a deeper base cabinet, a low drawer cabinet, a floor shelf and two wall hung cupboards. Keep clutter out of sight inside the wide pull-out drawer or on the glass shelves behind the cupboard doors. The RACK TV wall unit and two wall cabinets may be positioned in height and horizontal location as preferred. SA Buffet

Completely unique with its elliptical shape and curved glass doors, the large SA buffet incorporates only one straight edge into its graceful design, The interior surface of the glass is sandblasted, giving a luminous effect which lightly masks the objects stored inside. Double glass doors swing open to reveal a large interior glass shelf. Como Bed

Mission A-Frame w/ Swing Plans

Here is a sturdy, roomy, and simple to build porch swing. The beginner and weekend builder will have no problems constructing the swing itself OR the uniquely fashioned Mission A-Frame. This plan is adapted from a 100 year old design the distinct feature of which was the split A-Frame.

The swing itself is a hearty 5' wide and if you don't feel like making the A-Frame (which stands 7' tall), you can simply hang the swing under a porch. You are provided with a complete list of materials, including chain lengths needed, easy to read and understand measured drawings, many photos taken during the construction process, plus instructions and our customer support.

Sports Car Bed Plans

The spoiler of this fancy car, or bed, doubles as a handy bookshelf for your child's knicknacks. There is also hidden storage in the front end of the car, making for a neat little twist.

Full size patterns and painting guide are included, along with step by step instructions for building. The design is for a twin bed, and the overall finished size is 96" long, by 44-1/2" wide, by 32" tall.

Shaker Sewing Cabinet Plans

When we set out to design this Shaker-style sewing cabinet, a compact yet still attractive and functional piece of furniture was wanted. Plenty of useful features and storage options resulted. The cabinet IS designed for the sewing machine to sink down into the table on a hydrolic lift and the plans detail where you can purchase the necessary lift mechanism, or it can be omitted.

Shown here in cherry. It is 26-1/2" high, 44-1/2" wide, and 18" deep.
Included with your plan are the following: detailed instructions, large measured drawings, a complete list of materials, full size patterns for any curves, and a few photos. The best plan we've seen for a "sinking machine" cabinet.

Octagon Picnic Table with Accent Ring Plan

The self-contained table and bench design provides a lot of seating space in a relatively small area. . .the table is under 7' wide from bench to bench, while the table top is 4-1/2' across, giving you over 16 square feet of table top space. Each seated adult has approximately 22" of table width to themselves. Note the decorative ring around the edge of the table top, it's a feature not found in many picnic tables of this sort and you can always eliminate the ring.

The plan you receive folds out to a substantial 38" x 25" blueprint and includes: a list of the materials you need, cutting diagrams, professional measured drawings, many photos during construction, and detailed instructions. You'll need a weekend, but the plans make it easy. Look at Richard Dodds and his boys who turned it into a family project, attaching the eating surface.
All lumber for this project was specifically chosen to be common construction grade sizes, so anyone can easily find it at a local "home" store. This feature and the fact that you could build this table with a nothing more than a hand-held circular saw makes it an ideal project for most every handyperson. Build it for yourself, or build them for friends -- tables just like these go for upwards of $800 in some areas, but we all know 2x4's aren't that expensive.
